Certificate in Community Patrolling Level 2

This course is available to any CPNZ or associated member who has completed the Certificate in Community Patrolling Level 1.

Scope

This course is designed to give patrol members knowledge and skill to manage their personal safety and to assist emergency services at various incident scenes including vehicle accident and crime scenes.

  • Incident Management (CIMS)
  • Crime Scene Management
  • Vehicle Accident Scene Management
  • Emergencies & Evacuations – Fire, Criminal Threat, Natural Disaster
  • Personal Safety – Conflict Avoidance

Duration

The course is 12 hours total and is run over a weekend. All course work can be completed during the course.

Resources

The National Civil Defence & Emergency Management CIMS Level 2 Trainee workbook is provided to all students.

Other resources from the Police, Fire Service and the St Johns Ambulance Service are provided.
