Certificate in Community Patrolling Level 1

Target Group

This course is available to any CPNZ or associated member.

Scope

This course is designed to give patrol members basic knowledge and communication skills to carry out effective patrolling while working as a CPNZ volunteer.

  • Cultural Awareness and Human Rights

  • Drugs in the Community

Duration

The course is 12 hours total and is run over a two day weekend. Most course work can be completed during the course. However there are two workbooks for Communications and Patrolling which may be completed after the course.

Resources

A manual and resource folder is supplied to all course attendees. While all information provided may not be covered on the course it is available for those that may wish to read further on the variety of topics covered during the course.
